Ratidzo is currently a medical doctor at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, Blantyre, Malawi. Her attention has always been drawn to sidelined issues such as menstruation. Menstruation is a topic that is shied away from because it is not deemed ‘socially acceptable’ to discuss openly. She has had the privilege of being exposed to the theoretical side of reproductive education as well as the social side and the dire consequences of poor reproductive health management. Along with her like minded team members with a common goal of eradicating period poverty, she believes that with a united front it is possible.
